The brief
Final-year students in tier-2 cities rarely get to practise the way campus recruiters actually test: timed rounds by role, coding under a clock, and a fair ranking against their own batch. Colleges want to see who is ready, and companies want a shortlist they can trust.
What we built
- Timed tests for six career tracks (software, QA, network, AI/ML, accounts and digital marketing) at startup, mid-size and enterprise difficulty
- A coding judge with practice problems and live contests, where the timer runs on the server so it cannot be gamed
- University leaderboards that update live, and a prize list limited to Season Pass holders
- A skill quiz, a code playground, personal progress and streaks
- A campus report for college heads and a talent pool for recruiters, showing only students who chose to be visible
- A simple pass: monthly or full-season, paid by UPI
How it runs
One Next.js front end and a NestJS API with PostgreSQL for records and Redis for live leaderboards, served from the same address as this website at cirrusoul.com/arena.
