The problem
Most schools run on a patchwork of registers, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. Fees, exams and attendance live in different places, and parents only hear about problems late.
What we built
A multi-tenant platform where every school is its own isolated tenant, with role-based access for principal, manager, teacher, student, parent and non-teaching staff.
- Fees with sequential invoice numbers, GST-ready PDF invoices and receipts
- Examinations: section-wise timetables, exam terms, PDF timetables and admit cards
- Entrance exams with subject-wise papers, examiner marks entry and automatic seat-based ranking
- Attendance, holidays, leave and payroll
- Notices and a shared materials library targeted by year, class and section
- Plans that cap students and unlock SMS / WhatsApp notifications
Engineering notes
Tenant isolation is enforced both in middleware and in every service query. Permissions live in one central matrix rather than scattered role checks, and the API is documented end to end with Swagger.
